Jon Whitcomb, Dave Stevens, Rocketeer, Suicide Squad, Zatanna, Doc Savage, The Shadow, Tarzan, Corto Maltese

From The Illustrated Press: The Art of Jon Whitcomb. A wonderful book on a top magazine illustrator. The Dave Stevens Rocketeer Artisan Edition is as exciting to look at as when I first saw the Wally Wood EC Stories Artist’s Edition. I don’t use “exciting” lightly. Seeing that artwork up close—wow! And we have the Suicide Squad, Paul Dini’s Zatanna, and Doc Savage and The Shadow are together again in a new Will Murray novel. Plus a new Tarzan Omnibus and Corto Maltese in his first graphic-novel-length epic. Also some interesting & unusual Warehouse Finds.

MAKING GHOSTBUSTERS
Warehouse find, 1st edition, 1985. Recommended. Edited by Don Shay. The very first book about the making of the cult movie, now a highly collectible little gem. We just turned up a handful of copies, all new except for a bumped corner that occured in shipping. These sell for a small fortune online, starting around $150 for a well-worn copy, and jumping quickly to $250 for one in this condition, and $500 for nicer copies. We've priced these below the market to try and offer a reasonable deal if you've been looking for one.
