It's a fun week when I don't quite know WHAT new title to lead off with. The Art of Tran Nguyen is a beauty from Flesk. The Mark of Zorro is a massive look at the enduring hero. A new Prince Valiant continues the Foster-written Sundays after he stopped drawing it. And the new Best of Little Lulu series kicks off with early stories in full color. And there's a whole lot more here. |

ATOM BOMB AND OTHER STORIES
39 complete stories from 1952-65. Our Highest Recommendation. By Harvey Kurtzman, Jerry De Fuccio et al. Art by Wallace Wood. When artist Wallace Wood teamed up with writer/editor Harvey Kurtzman to create stories, the result was some of the best war stories ever put to paper. Together, they delivered outstanding, deeply human battle tales from the Roman Legions, Napoleon, the Civil War, World War I and II, on up to Korea. This volume collects all their combat tales for EC's Two-Fisted Tales and Frontline Combat. Blackwood's work predicts and predates the work of H.P. Lovecraft, who called The Willows "the greatest horror tale ever written in the English language." He's shipped us two previous cases, all of which we sold at the same $125 price. He is sending us his last case of 12, and one more case of slightly damaged copies. Then it will be officially out of print. Act now if you want an as-new copy, or inquire if you prefer a slightly damaged copy at a small discount—probably $100 or so.
