Free Comic Book Day!!

Free Comic Book Day!!

Free Comic Book Day is Saturday, May 4th—but you can get a jump on it right now and maybe see your comics by Saturday if you are nearby, or at least early next week! Since we aren't a brick and mortar store, we also extend FCBD to as long as our copies hold out, to allow everyone possible to join in and to allow you to place more than one order to get more Freebies.

To qualify, you do need to place an order--of any size--to get your freebies. That's because, unlike a bricks and mortar store, we incur expenses shipping to you: handling, supplies and postage. So we need an order--of any size--with postage added to make this work. Buying any of the priced Vintage Comics below counts as an order; no substitutions will be made if these run out.

This year we have SEVEN new carefully selected (by Bud) comics. We've added our own “warehouse finds.” Some are free, the rest are bargain-priced.

Place ANY size order and choose 3 free items. Order over $50 and choose 6. Limit of one per item with each order so everyone has a chance to get these. While supply lasts, of course. If we run out of anything, we'll try and sub in something else. All the free comics are listed below. Enjoy!

Recently we discovered that for GMAIL customers, our emails are coming through without images. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we are working to remedy this. If you cannot see images please click here to see them on our blog.

Join Jim Barr and Susan Kent as they harness the might of science to become Bulletman and Bulletgirl, defending a world teetering on the edge of chaos in the midst of World War II. Raboy provides the cover art (no stories) for #4 and #5, and the excellent artist Charles Sultan draws the cover of #6. Much of the art inside is not attributed (Ward does do a story in each issue). Fox Publications had many top talents in their earliest comics — #1 features a Lou Fine cover and multiple stories by Will Eisner (Yarko the Magician) and Bob Powell. Joe Simon drew the cover of #3, just before partnering up with Jack Kirby! With dynamic visuals and a narrative that captures the spirit of a bygone era...the roots of superhero storytelling, where it all began! PS Artbooks, 2024....More.

ERB Tarzan Vol 21-24 set

These are still coming in a few at a time. We’ve filled nearly all of our backorders, in order received, but haven’t any extras yet so that we can list them here. Soon I hope. All other volumes ARE available, including all the other sets of four.

Lou Fine’s The Ray/Black Condor

I got caught short on these—I knew they’d be popular, but I didn’t anticipate how popular. We immediately sold out on the softcover edition last week, but we do have six copies of the hardcover still available as I write this [BLACR01H. $52.99]. More softcovers will be here…from England…in a few weeks. We’re also still looking for our restock on the Frazetta facsimile, Thun’da King of the Congo #1, which the publisher failed to include in our last shipment [THUK01. $19.99]. We do have a copy of Russ Cochran’s first oversize reprint of Thun’da [RB4728. $75]. From 1973, in as-new condition!

At The Earth’s Core Artist’s Edition

We have just three of this super deluxe edition left; then we will only have A/P copies if still available [ATEAD. $299.99]. This was limited to 648 copies. The Moon Maid, with three complete books and bonus material, also remains available. It’s amazing and has my Highest Recommendation… [MOONMH. $350]. Note: shipping in the U.S. on orders over $300 is FREE.
