BALBUZAR
New from France. Highly Recommended. By Gérard Moncomble. Art by Frédéric Pillot. Newly translated, a fable about freedom, about resistance, about power on the high seas. And gorgeous artwork, amazing detail and wildly imaginative. In the Sarboucane sea, Balbuzar the pirate reigns supreme. He attacks, plunders, sinks, and ransoms everything that comes within his reach. Savage, cruel, formidable, but also with a certain bonhomie, and a great sense of justice. He is in harmony with the sea, the islands, the wind, the rocks. Around him, birds, always. Men, women, children…they all love him. For he is free as the air. But now the Empress Pépita XIII is worried about Balbuzar’s constant plundering. She sends against him her best officer, the Commodore, at the head of an armada. Ablaze, 2021....More.

Spider-Man Taschen XXL

See the last paragraph of the full description for an update on the numbered copies.

Spectrum Fantastic Art Quarterly - bookplate update

I can hardly believe it, but we blasted through 300 copies of this. That was the limitation of our bookplate, which I imagined would be plenty for a while. Nope…they lasted just a month. Copies from now forward will not have the bookplate, sorry. Our latest catalog still has the old description including the bookplate. This first issue is limited to 1000 copies.

The editors are already hard at work on Volume 2. It with include a feature article on Jeffrey Jones. Like #1's Frazetta feature, it'll be a little different with new details.
