American Express Cancelled You can no longer use American Express credit cards with us. The company came down very heavy-handed on us about shipping “adult” material to certain countries we do very little business with anyway—the U.S. and Canada was okay. We offered that we could monitor this by hand, but that wasn’t good enough for them—they wanted us to re-write our software so people from those countries could not even place an adult item in a shopping cart, regardless of whether they ordered it or not. This could prove impossible for us to change; at the least, it would cost us thousands of dollars in custom programming…and next time we upgrade our software, we’d have to do it all over again. So, sorry folks, you can no longer use Amex all because of a very small, very specialized situation that affected very few people.
