King Kong vs. Tarzan by Will Murray, Pre-Raphaelites Frank Dicksee and Alma-Tadema, Elric, The Flash, Iron Man

King Kong vs. Tarzan by Will Murray! I think this is going to be a good one. Also both in are two new coffee table books on Victorian era/Pre-Raphaelite painters, Frank Dicksee (the first major book on him) and the outstanding Alma-Tadema, who I've compared to Maxfield Parrrish. Also Elric, The Flash, Iron Man, and coming items.

THE WILD ADVENTURES OF KING KONG VS TARZAN
Highly Recommended. By Will Murray. Art by Joe DeVito. Beast-God Versus Ape-Man. The year was 1933. Filmmaker Carl Denham had captured the stupendous monster he had dubbed "King" Kong. But that was only the beginning. Denham was determined to get the dethroned ruler of Skull Mountain Island back to America, and cash in on the greatest wild animal capture in human history. The saga of how Kong was taken in chains from his Indian Ocean kingdom to New York City has never been told. And how the Kong ends up in Tarzan's Africa! Get ready for a wild ride! THE WILD ADVENTURES OF KING KONG VS TARZAN Deluxe Hardcover Signed
Signed bookplate, bonus art and pages, hardcover in jacket. Highly Recommended. By Will Murray. Art by Joe DeVito. Writer Will Murray really thought this one out, and it was years in the making. It actually fills in the original King Kong story, since we all know Kong ends up in New York City with the beautiful Fay Wray in his clutches. But here's the missing chapter, of how Kong takes a detour into Africa and totally disrupts the tranquil jungle of Tarzan and his beloved Waziri. Will total respect for both characters, Murray (author of all the new doc Savage novels, Tarzan: Return to Pal-Ul-Don, and the noted pulp history authority who writes the interludes in each and every Sanctum pulp reprint) tackles the meeting of the two mightiest jungle enitities. Altus, 2016...More.
