PRE-CODE CLASSICS CHILLING TALES OF HORROR BEWARE Volume 1 Collects Youthful's Beware #10-12 and two great Avon one—shots, 1952-1953. Recommended. By Harry Harrison et al.Youthful operated from 1949 to 1954 and only published about ten titles. Doug Wildey was the company's lead artist—he later went on to create the 1964 animated television series Jonny Quest. This is a totally different title than Beware from Trojan—also collected by PS. Also here are two scarce Avon one-shots: Phantom Witch Doctor, with a great cover & 7 pages by Kinstler, and Night of Mystery by Kinstler and A.C. Hollingsworth.
