We've sent this email a day early, due to our software update. Any orders placed by Thursday noon will ship that day. Orders placed after noon will not ship until Monday. Please see News & Notes for more details.

As of July 27, links in this email and all previous emails, posted on our blog or in your inbox, WILL NOT WORK. This is because our new website comes up on Monday, July 27. To get more information and images about any item listed here, on Monday, July 27 or later, DOUBLE CLICK on the item code, paste it into the general search field on our website, and hit return. House of Mystery Volume 2 is packed with young comics talent like Kaluta and Wrightson and stunning art from the "Filipino Invasions". I really enjoyed reading Canto: If I Only Had a Heart, and from France, Mister Invincible—unique, nicely drawn and well written.

Savage Sword of Conan is packed with solid tales and great art. Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy is beautifully drawn. Green Lantern and the Arrow go cosmic in an archive of 1970s work. Wonder Woman offers a nice vintage selection of stories.

This is the final week to pre-order Coming Items with no charge until shipment, so we offer all the latest.

CANTO If I Only Had a Heart
Collects #1-6. Highly Recommended. By David Booher. Art by Drew Zucker. "If the Wizard of Oz and Brian Froud's Labrynth gave birth to a hero, it would be Canto." Enslaved for generations, Canto's people once had hearts. Now they have clocks. They are forbidden to love, or to even have names...yet Canto secretly does both. When slavers damage his friend's clock beyond repair, Canto embarks on an incredible journey through his strange and fantastic world to bring back her heart. As he faces fearsome creatures and finds unlikely (and equally fearsome) allies, can he find the mysterious Shrouded Man, the key to this strange world? Great plot twist, great characters (think Bone but without the slapstick). IDW, 2020...More.

She's even debating becoming a real, true hero and leaving her chaotic life of crime behind. But her partner in crime, Poison Ivy, is not sold. And when the Floronic Man shows up hell-bent on harming Ivy, the duo has to hit the streets to avoid him. Very well drawn. Three pages of variant covers, which are actually double-cover images, plus 3 pages of pencils by Melo. DC Comics, 2020...More.

A delightful spoof of comics, from France. Our Highest Recommendation. By Pascal Jousselin. Winner of the Bologna Ragazzi Comics Award, 2020. Mr. Invincible is an average looking, unassuming guy in wrestling tights and a mask who manages to frequently save the day through his amazing - and sometimes unexplainable - ability to bend the laws of space and time... by reaching literally outside the panels of this comic book to affect things in the surrounding panels! His incredible, creative intellect always shows him the most amazing solutions to seemingly insurmountable dangers. He truly is INVINCIBLE! Magnetic Press, 2020...More.

Item Code: MISINV
Soft Cover, 8x11, 96pg, Full Color

I've read more of this since I wrote the description above, and I love it. This is truly a fun concept, never before explored like this. Mister Invincible uses comic panels to bend space AND time, as never done before. It's brilliant comics and laugh-out-loud funny. Check out the sample pages we've scanned, and see for yourself.

Due to our new software, coming on line on Monday, we will have to ask for advance payment (i.e. your credit card will be billed) for coming or out of stock items. We hope to customize a fix for this, to return to our old system of ship & bill, but for now, we have to live with this.

Click here for more than 100 Coming Items and make sure you are caught up reserving your copy.

New Website Next Week

On Monday July 27, our new website will be up. I hope you find it interesting, easy to navigate, and more robust than our old one. You can download it right here, if you don't already have a print copy.

Credit Card Info

We cannot migrate your credit card information to our new software, since it's safely encrypted. So for your next order, beginning at noon on Thursday, July 23, we will need to get your credit card information and re-enter it. If you order by internet, we will call or send you an email. If you call in your order, you can give it to us right then.

If we have a backorder or coming items for you, we will either call you, or we will email you and ask you to call us, to get the credit card information. We only need this once, then we'll ship and charge your card as we normally do—for those backorders placed before July 27 (see above). We thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition period.
