Besides the origin story by Will Eisner, this collects for the first time ever the first four 48-page issues of his own title (issues #1-8 were Uncle Sam). Charlton's Space War #6-10, 1960-61. Recommended. Steve Ditko covers and art in #6, 8 and 10. Who? What? Why? and Where? Fundamental universal sci-fi teasers -- luckily enough we have Ditko & crew to answer those questions! Art by Rocco Mastroserio, Bill Molno, Dick Giordano and Charles Nicholas. Fun early sci-fi from the little company that wasn't quite DC or Marvel...but did publish the occasional gems. PS Artbooks, 2022. ...More.

THE QUESTION Omnibus By Dennis O'Neil and Denys Cowan Volume 1
Collects The Question #1-27 & three annuals, 1987-89. Recommended.First of two volumes. Just a few short years after co-creating Spider-Man, artist and writer Steve Ditko created the Question, who worked as an investigative journalist in public and a vigilante in secret. Two decades later, writer Dennis O'Neil and artist Denys Cowan unleashed their acclaimed reinvention of the Question for the late 1980s, coinciding with one of the most creative periods in comics. While retaining familiar elements of the character--including his faceless mask--O'Neil and Cowan also imbued Vic Sage with a Zen philosophy and forced him to ask vital questions about his methods employed while fighting crime in the corrupt town of Hub City. DC Comics, 2022. ...More.

100 BULLETS Omnibus Volume 2
Collects 100 Bullets #59-100 and 100 Bullets: Brother Lono #1-8, 2005-09. Recommended. By Brian Azzarello. Art by Eduardo Risso. The series carries to its "bloody, shocking conclusion." If your life was destroyed, and you knew that those responsible would never be held to account, how far would you go to get revenge? If you were given a chance to kill anyone you wanted, with a guarantee that the law could not touch you, would you take it? That's the opportunity that a man called Agent Graves provides, in the form of a special case containing a gun, a hundred rounds of ammunition, and total immunity for their use. Collects the Captain America stories from Tales of Suspense #59-77, 1964-66. Our Highest Recommendation. By Stan Lee. Art by Jack Kirby. After Cap's revival from his long sleep after World War II, as recounted in The Avengers #4, here he got his first all-new series in the beginning of the Marvel Age. Marvel by agreement could still only publish eight titles a month, so they shoe-horned Cap into Iron Man's regular title, creating one of the best monthly reads in comics! Marvel, 2022...More.

Item Code: MMMC01
Soft Cover, 6x9, 216pg, Full Color
This series is now 13 titles strong. I want to say so many are my favorites, and they are. But this run of Lee & Kirby Cap 18 stories in Tales of Suspense, some taking place during World War II, are also real gems as Captain America returns to the Marvel Universe. Check out all volumes in the series here.

With an innate inclination to help others and a natural beauty that makes her a magnet for men, Friday often finds herself in some very sticky situations and world-class adventures. Limited, 500. Highly Recommended. We were excited when we saw they were redoing the fabulous door-sized poster of Vampi that Warren did back in 1972. But what we got looked like they'd been done a while back and then badly stored so that they all ended up with creases, like you'd have with a rolled poster that got slightly flattened--not totally flat, but squashed somewhat. So we refused to sell these as they were, and now offer them as-is with a full understanding of what you are getting! The original edition on Amazon starts at $199! We found more copies at $350 and $500! Here's the original blurb: "You've been begging for it! Now, you got it! Harris Comics is reprinting one of the crown jewels of Vampirella collectibles: the Jose Gonzalez Door Poster! Die-hard Vampi fans have often paid top dollar for this, but now you too will finally be able to take one home! This special edition of the poster will bear a small Vampirella 40th Anniversary logo on the bottom. Dynamite, 2020. Condition: These are wavy and creased (though not completely flat) due to being stored rolled up with something squeezing them.  ...More.

EC ARCHIVES Two-Fisted Tales Volume 4
Collects #36-41, the final issues, 1954-55. Our Highest Recommendation. By Harvey Kurtzman, Jack Davis, et al. Art by Jack Davis, John Severin, Evans, Wood, Krigstein and Crandall. As these final issues were produced, editor Harvey Kurtzman turned over the editorial reins to artist John Severin. Stories moved away from WWII and the Korean war and turned to adventure, including western frontier tales starring Indians and gunslingers. Severin took over doing cover art and drew many of the stories, frequently along with superb work by Jack Davis. But also here is a wonderful biography of big game hunter Carl Akeley by Wally Wood. Yet another facet of EC's fine innovation. Dark Horse, 2019. Condition: Fine . Top corner slightly bumped. Still in shrink-wrap....More.

By Bunny Yeager. In the 1950s Bunny Yeager posed for Playboy and other men's magazines, but before long found herself on the other side of the camera. In a business dominated by men, she was one of the first women photographers of pin-ups, and drew upon her own experience in front of the camera. When thousands of copies of US Camera magazine appeared on the news-stands proclaiming Bunny Yeager as the "World's Prettiest Photographer", her life changed drastically. Yet Bunny never gave up modelling - being a photographer was just another asset. Bettie Page and Maria Stinger were Bunny's most popular and important models at the start of her photographic career. She found it exciting to use girls who had never been photographed before and turn them into glamour models. She also relished finding inspiring locations and making the models' outfits. First Printing. By John Willie. This is the original tribute to John Alexander Scott Coutts (1902-1962), a.k.a. John Willie, and his popular underground heroine! Willie still stands as the finest bondage artist ever and his stories of Sweet Gwen are classics, first published in rarely-seen specialty magazines of the late 1940s and early '50s. Included are complete Gwendoline stories in ink and wash, as our poor girl gets tied up, gagged, put into a tight corset, and far more, often by dominating women and even by her own friend, a leather-clad secret agent. Willie's work nearly always had an innocence of sorts—it's never violent or truly threatening. Gwendoline's naiveté is both sweet and erotic, as she submits to one domination after another. As you would expect, there is a breathtaking amount of beautifully rendered flesh on display in an unrelenting series of lascivious situations but there is also a welcome glimpse into the scrupulous working practice of an artist equally renowned for his historical research and devotion to historical accuracy and authenticity— and his wickedly sly, dry sense of humor.
