All backorders were in the mail as of Wednesday, October 14. Whew! We are out of copies but a reorder is on the way as I write this. Note: each EC History is packed into a giant cardboard box with printed black and white art outside. It's meant to protect the book. We've heard that some sellers are slapping a label on it and using it as the shipping box. In some ways, that is what it's designed for. But as collectors, many of us (myself included) consider it part of the product, awkward as it is to store and save! But no one would be remiss to toss it as just packaging.

That said, these boxes do not always come to us in perfect condition. We weed out any with a serious issue, but we can't reject them for a minor bump when the book inside is still perfect. That's just the box doing its job, protecting the book. We are wrapping each box AND book inside in more cardboard, then nesting that in bubble wrap, and packing into an even larger custom box. So it'll reach you in the same condition we got it in. Most of the boxes are perfectly fine, but please understand a minor imperfection on a few just can't be avoided. ~Bud |
