THE WORLD OF TONY MEEUWISSEN A Life in Illustration and Graphic Art
Highly Recommended. Tony Meeuwissen’s lively and engaging artwork has appeared in books and playing cards, magazine covers and postage stamps. Born in London in 1938, by the age of thirty he was a successful freelancer with commissions from Penguin Books, covers for Radio Times, designing stamps for the Royal Mail, illustrating feature articles for the London Sunday Times Magazine, and designing card sets and books. In this absorbing memoir, the artist writes about his life at the drawing board and delves into the inspiration and ideas behind his imagery. Paul Holberton Publishing, 2022....More.

INCOGNITO Strange Neighbors and Distant Relations Signed
Signed! Highly Recommended. Fantasy artist Ed Binkley's fascination with stories of goblins, fairies, dragons, ogres, werewolves, imps, banshees, elves and other eerie things, along with his admiration of portraiture, nineteenth century photography and daguerreotypes, provided the inspiration for his bizarre portraits here of dark, otherworldly humans and creatures. Each character contains exquisite detail, displaying a distinct personality, some abundantly dark and creepy, some humorous, almost joyful, but always allowing viewers to fill in back-stories using their own imagination. Ed Binkley, 2022....More.

Graphic Novels

New edition. Art by Fred Beltran et al. After the Greek tragedy of The Metabarons, Alexandro Jodorowsky returns to his biblical roots with this quest reminiscent of the story of Moses and set on a galactic scale. Its characters and the theme of virtual reality are tailor-made for artist Zoran Janjetov (Before The Incal), who finds in Jodorowsky a perfect collaborator. Albino, hero of this space odyssey, remembers here his childhood, his apprenticeship, and the big and small battles he had to fight to fulfill his ambitions in a universe where technological advances are paradoxically matched only by the cruelty and the barbarism of the forces controlling it. An original graphic novel. Writer Billy Tucci, along with artists Maria Laura Sanapo and Edu Menna, delves into the eponymous deep dark secret of the Nazi regime during the Second World War. Through the 1940s, several Nazi concentration camps featured brothels wherein Jewish women were forced to work as prostitutes for soldiers. This rarely discussed, dark tragedy of history remains starkly relevant today. Now, Miss Fury and her team of Black Furies have discovered this cruel phenomenon — and they're going to kick some Nazi ass, in an all-female style mission of revenge. Dynamite, 2022....More.

Bud’s Cyber Sale

It went out just a week ago and we still have most of the items listed. Check out all the titles we just marked down to 40%, 50% and more.

Famous First Edition: Fantastic Four

Taschen has printed more copies of this, with a different ISBN, that
do NOT have this limitation notice, beyond the first 5000. Other
outlets, such as book stores, may have these unnumbered copies. We
deal directly with Taschen (not through a distributor)--so we qualify
to get these special copies, while supply lasts.

This is the same deal as on the upcoming Frazetta XXL edition; our
copies will be from the numbered Famous First Edition.

Taschen started this with the Marvel Comics Library Spider-Man edition
but they did not properly identify the numbered copies. Most or all of
our copies may have been numbered, but we didn’t want to be taking off
the protective shrink wrap to identify each one. So we explained the
situation and let customers get what they got.

To this day we’re still not sure on the Avengers edition, and again I
would have to open up all of our copies to find out. We’re not sure
there WAS a numbered edition. So we didn’t claim that these are
numbered. Taschen clearly handled the information on these very

But now they may have finally gotten their act together. The signed &
unsigned Fantastic Four have different ISBNs (International Book
Numbers) so they are easy to identify from the label on the box.
