Bowler was elected to the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame on 1992. He is best know for being part of the Charles Cooper Studio. His style is close to that of the fine Coby Whitmore, whose name many of you will recognize—he’s known for elegant men and women. He was a regular contributor to Cosmopolitan and Ladies Home Journal, two of the premier prestige magazines in "The Second Golden Age" after World War II. He was named Artist’s Guild Artist of the Year in 1967. | |
