ALVARADO'S MILITARY PIN-UPS Recommended. In the popular Alvarado style, these fun and sexy military pin-ups present a dynamic new look at an old tradition. The vintage heyday of American pinups is presented here in full view, with a modern flare and that unique Alvarado touch. No nipples or explicit work, but these ladies are often topless or nude with just carefully placed weapons, bandoliers, and shoulder straps to save them from the censors. Everything else is fair game and on full display. Military-uniforms and gear-clad models featured with classic combat aircraft — from the P-51 Mustang and Spitfire to the Vietnam-era F-4 Phantom jet to the present day — hint at the lure of Gil Elvgren and Alberto Vargas's vintage pin-up art. Schiffer, 2024. Mature Readers....More. Item Code: ALVMPH Hard Cover, 9x12, 160pg, Full Color |
