The Rose City Book Fair in Portland went very well for us. It was the first time we've exhibited there. I got reacquainted with a number of old friends from both the book and the comics world, including Steve Duin. Steve co-wrote Comics Between the Panels with Dark Horse president Mike Richardson a number of years ago and I was one of many fans and pros he interviewed for it. We even worked out a trade for several Golden Age comics. I'm posting some pictures on our Facebook page, and will have a further report when I get back home next week. Next up is a visit with Mr. Monster's Michael Gilbert, who lives in Eugene, Oregon. ~Bud |
