TARZAN CONQUEROR OF MARS Hardcover Signed
Deluxe Hardcover edition with bonus material and bookplate signed by Murray and Kukalis. By Will Murray. Cover art by Romas Kukalis. Mysteriously teleported to Mars just as John Carter once was, Tarzan searches for the one man who could show him the path home—The Warlord of Mars! I'm a huge fan of Murray's first Tarzan novel, Return to Pal-Ul-Don. And just like reading Return, I was sorry to see this new novel come to an end. It's really fun, nice and long at 460 pages. Murray captures ERB's style and voice very well. John Carter finally comes into play...in a major way...but not until halfway through the novel! I could elaborate, but no more spoilers. For the first half of the book, Tarzan 1) manages to stay allive, not easy, 2) explores the outer reaches of Mars, far from civilization, and 3) begins to meet the many denizens of Mars: White Apes, a Zitidar, Thoats (which he masters riding), and Geen Martians. PS Book of Fantastic Fictioneers

Pete Von Scholly has put together a two-volume hardcover set of encyclopedic entries of all the great names of comics, sci fi and fantasy, with 75 renowned contributors, from Bill Stout to Harlan Ellison. And Pete's own art on each creator. This came in from England's PS Artbooks this week, but since we know Pete, I talked to him and he's quickly making up a signed bookplate to go with our copies. So I've delayed listing it until these arrive and we can put them with the books. Stay tuned.

The Signature Art of Brian Stelfreeze

I mistakenly listed this a few weeks ago as on sale at $29.95, but I meant to make them half price, $24.99. Act now, we didn't get many perfect copies, so they are set up to go first. [SABSH. $49.99, $24.99].

Corto Maltese by Hugo Pratt

The early volumes have slowed down so I'm letting them sell out. Act now if you are missing any.

Harley Quinn and The Birds of Prey

The new film looks like fun, I hope to see it soon. Click here to see all Harley and Birds of Prey items in stock.
