Dropped Links

We have regularly featured a linked Table of Contents above, plus links from the intro paragraph. Our mail software is having trouble with these, and we don't seem to see many people using them. So unless we hear from you, we're going to drop them from these emails and save everyone some time!

Trots and Bonnie Signed Bookplate

I've eagerly awaited this collection by underground cartoonist Shary Flenniken. These strips first appeared mostly in the National Lampoon. At the very last minute, we've been told a signed bookplate is available—meanwhile the books came in this week. We're holding off listing them until we can put the bookplates with them (free, of course).

Statues shipping cost

You may have noticed we're not offering as many statues as we once did. The cost of shipping these both FROM our suppliers to us, then to you, is getting more and more prohibitive. The three new ones we have this week above, are close to or actually break-even for us after we calculate how much shipping is — we have to absorb quite a bit of the cost getting them to you. Statues cost far more than a comparably-priced book because they have to be shipped by Priority Mail. That said, we have a little more margin on higher-priced statues, $150-$300, but we'll probably have to steer clear of ones under $100.
