George Metzger - GoFundMe |
Legendary underground comics creator George Metzger can no longer live at home and has moved into long-term care. Over the past year, his health has been in decline, and I (his son, Johnstone Metzger) have had to spend an increasing amount of time providing direct care for him and handling the day to day life responsibilities that he is no longer able to do. Over the summer, things got more difficult for my dad and after coming down with COVID, he was unable to safely return home, as he now requires more support than I am able to provide. He has moved into a facility that provides 24 hour nursing care and close monitoring. -Johnstone Metzger |
